On the shore,
Jesus preached.
Then in a boat,
And out of reach
From the pressing crowds,
That came to hear
Who all at once
Were way to near!
What could have been chaos,
Turned serene.
Such a pulpit!
Such a scene!
When the sermon was over,
Things got even better.
And definitely,
A whole lot wetter!
Jesus decided
He wanted some fish,
But not just enough
For a single dish.
Two boats almost sank
From the size of the catch.
Simon, a sinner,
To Jesus did latch.
He left his boat
Without a care,
To follow Jesus
Everywhere.
James and John
Saw Jesus was strong,
And they decided
To come along.
Fishers of people
They would be,
The inner circle,
The chosen three!
